Navigating Between Controllers Using the Zapi Standard Console

Getting Started

1. Connect the console to the serial port on your ACE2 Inverter
2. Power on the truck

What you'll see on startup

When you first turn on the console, it will display two startup screens:

First Screen:

ZAPI

CONSOLE V x.x

This shows your console software version.

Second Screen:

CONNECTED TO

AE2P2B H NRx.xx

48 V 500A XXXXX

This displays information about the controller you're connected to.

If no alarms are active, you'll proceed to the main screen.

How to switch between controllers (Nodes)

Step 1: Enter The Configuration Menu

• Press the Top Left and Top Right buttons simultaneously
• You'll see: CONFIG MENU

Step 2: Access Set Model

• Press ENTER to select SET MODEL
• The screen will show which node you're currently connected to: CONNECTED TO 5

Step 3: Select Your Desired Node

Use buttons 5 and 6 to scroll through available nodes:

Step 4: Confirm Your Selection

• Once you've highlighted the node you want, press OUT
• You'll see a confirmation prompt:

ARE YOU SURE?

YES=ENTER NO=OUT

• Press Enter to confirm or OUT to cancel.

Step 5: Exit Configuration

• The screen returns to SET MODEL
• Press OUT again to exit the configuration menu.

Step 6: You're Connected

• The console will now display the selected controllers information:

A3MT2C 2NNR x.xx 48V 600A xxxxx

You can now navigate the menus for your selected controller (e.g., ACE3 Traction Inverter).

Quick Reference

• Entering Config Menu: Top Left + Top Right buttons

• Scrolling Nodes: Buttons 5 & 6

• Confirming Selection: ENTER

• Going Back: OUT

Troubleshooting Tips



• If you don't see the startup screens, check your serial connection
• If an alarm is present, it may need to be cleared before accessing the configuration menu
• Always confirm you're on the correct node before making any changes
