Speed Reduction — Flexi AC Trucks

Overview
Summary The maximum speed of Flexi AC trucks can be reduced by enabling a speed reduction input to the traction controller and adjusting the Cutback Speed 2 setting.
Notice The 'tortoise' speed reduction symbol on the digital display will be permanently illuminated when this feature is enabled.
Enabling Speed Reduction Input

Fit a link between pins 1 & 2 on truck harness plug H, located below the spool valve controller.

Zapi Console — Configuration Steps
ZAPI CONSOLE

Preparation
Keyswitch OFF. Disconnect digital display harness from traction controller plug F. Connect Zapi digital console.

Power On
Turn keyswitch ON. Display shows controller info — model, software version, voltage, current, hour count.

Access Main Menu
Press ENTER. Display shows "MAIN MENU — PARAMETER CHANGE".

Navigate to Cutback Speed
Press ENTER again. Press ROLL UP until display shows "CUTBACK SPEED 2" with current % (default 60%).

Adjust Setting
Press PARAM SET up or down to adjust in 10% increments. E.g. 40% gives ~8 km/h on AC1200.

Save
Press OUT. Confirm with ENTER when prompted "ARE YOU SURE? YES=ENTER NO=OUT".

Exit & Reconnect
Press OUT twice. Keyswitch OFF. Disconnect console, reconnect truck display harness to plug F.
