CHECK UP TYPE
Controls whether the Eco Smart Display notifies the operator that a service is due. Default: Level 1.
Default Trigger
CHECK UP HOURS
"SERVICE REQUIRED" appears after the number of hours set in this parameter. Default: 500 hours.

Shows fault code A242
on the display. Press the middle button to return to the default view. The truck can still be operated with SERVICE REQUIRED active. The red spanner icon remains RED.

Access the Password Screen
From the default display screen, press Enter twice to reach the password entry screen.

Enter the Password
Use Keys 1 through 5 to enter the engineer password on the password screen.

Navigate to ZAPI Console
Use Key 1 to scroll to ZAPI CONSOLE, then press Enter to access the menu.

Navigate to Parameters
Press Enter, then use Key 1 to scroll to the Parameters menu and press Enter to access it.

Locate CHECK UP TYPE
Scroll through the parameter list to find CHECK UP TYPE. The default value displayed is Level 1.

Set to Level 0
Press Key 2 to change the value from Level 1 down to Level 0, disabling the service required notification.

Save and Confirm
Press Enter to save the change. The display will prompt ARE YOU SURE? YES–ENTER NO–OUT. Press Enter to confirm.

Recycle the Truck Key
Turn the truck key off and back on. The display will return to the normal operating screen and the SERVICE REQUIRED message will no longer appear.
